Classic Artisan Sourdough Bread
$10.00

My Organic Classic Artisan Sourdough Bread is made with Organic Bread Flour, Organic Rye flour, filtered water, Organic Sourdough Starter (wild yeast) olive oil and salt. It's long fermented and cold proofed for 12+ hours which makes it easier for digestion, is easier on those with gluten sensitivities, and because sourdough starter feeds on the sugars found in the starches in bread it has a low glycemic index.

Choose between the artisan round or sandwich loaf shape.

Fig & Walnut Sourdough Bread
$12.00

Our naturally leavened sourdough bread filled with sweet, dried , organic Smyrna figs and toasted walnuts, offering a perfect balance of tangy crumb, subtle sweetness, and hearty texture. Great toasted with a little butter.

Roasted Garlic & Herb Sourdough Bread
$12.00

Welcome to Fig & Olive Bakery located in Aurora, Colorado. We are a small, woman-owned, micro-bakery that loves everything sourdough.

We believe that good bread starts with simplicity — all organic grains, high-quality ingredients, patience and love. We do not use preservatives, dough conditioners, seed oils or artificial dyes of any kind.

Our artisan sourdough loaves are hand-crafted in small batches using traditional methods that honor the natural fermentation process, resulting in a deep flavor, beautiful crust, and nourishing crumb.

Alongside our signature sourdough, we bake a selection of goodies, like buttery scones, light & airy focaccia, ooey- gooey cinnamon rolls, bakery-style cookies & much more. Each bake celebrates the art of slowing down, savoring, and sharing something truly real.

  • Sourdough bread is just three ingredients: flour, water, and salt! Since there are no preservatives, this bread dries out quickly and molds faster than store-bought. The best way to keep sourdough fresh is to store in an airtight bag at room temperature for up to 3 days after you get it! You can slice and freeze your bread or freeze it whole to keep it fresh for 3 months! If you find your bread is stale, you can run it under some water and reheat in the oven on 350F for 10-15 minutes to give the loaf a nice crunch and a soft interior! I also spray a slice of bread with water before the toaster if I find it’s a bit dry!

  • Yes, please inquire about any special orders. Keep in mind we are a very small micro-bakery. I will always do my best to accomomdate your needs if enough advance time is given.
