Welcome to Fig & Olive Bakery located in Aurora, Colorado. We are a small, woman-owned, micro-bakery that loves everything sourdough.
We believe that good bread starts with simplicity — all organic grains, high-quality ingredients, patience and love. We do not use preservatives, dough conditioners, seed oils or artificial dyes of any kind.
Our artisan sourdough loaves are hand-crafted in small batches using traditional methods that honor the natural fermentation process, resulting in a deep flavor, beautiful crust, and nourishing crumb.
Alongside our signature sourdough, we bake a selection of goodies, like buttery scones, light & airy focaccia, ooey- gooey cinnamon rolls, bakery-style cookies & much more. Each bake celebrates the art of slowing down, savoring, and sharing something truly real.

Sourdough bread is just three ingredients: flour, water, and salt! Since there are no preservatives, this bread dries out quickly and molds faster than store-bought. The best way to keep sourdough fresh is to store in an airtight bag at room temperature for up to 3 days after you get it! You can slice and freeze your bread or freeze it whole to keep it fresh for 3 months! If you find your bread is stale, you can run it under some water and reheat in the oven on 350F for 10-15 minutes to give the loaf a nice crunch and a soft interior! I also spray a slice of bread with water before the toaster if I find it’s a bit dry!
